The Afghan question

Two years since the withdrawal of the US military

Redazione di TheBlackCoffee

It’s been two years since the Taliban, the darkest minds of the century, returned to Afghanistan; as happened in the past with their jihadist brothers, who took office in spite of our people, today these figures created by CIA and ISIS are kept in power thanks to the dollars that the US and its allies send them every week, to which other aid is added under bench. Under the fascist rule of the Taliban, Afghanistan turned into a huge prison, especially for its oppressed women.

In 2001, US/NATO thugs occupied our land under the guise of “fighting terrorism”, but in reality they fueled various forms of jihadist, Taliban and ISIS terrorism like never before. They talked about “women’s liberation” but let the fate of women be decided by these sick and misogynistic figures. They spoke of “democracy”, but supported looters and mafias, placing power in the hands of an army of corrupt and criminals and a traitorous puppet regime. Finally, they came to terms with the Taliban.

Two years ago, the United States and its allies disempowered their jihadi and technocrat lackeys and put power back in the hands of the Taliban. In these two years, all over the country, we have witnessed more horrific crimes, ignored by the whole world: from the first days after taking power, the Taliban closed the gates of government offices to women and prevented girls from being educated beyond sixth grade; not long afterwards women were also deprived of the right to study at universities and to take entrance exams; several youths were shot in Kunar and Khost for listening to music and defending the country’s flag; civilians were massacred in Panjshir, Balkhab and Andrabs; women protesters were imprisoned, subjected to torture, humiliation, sexual harassment and forced to confess; many of these women and former military personnel have disappeared or been killed. Poverty and hunger have reached very high rates: over 90% of the population now lives below the poverty line; in different places, in the name of the Sharia, women and men were punished with whippings, stonings and reprisals; women were forced to wear the black hijab and prevented from attending entertainment centres, sports centers or training courses; the media was pressured and intimidated, and women were prevented from appearing on television; hairdressers, wedding halls and playing music were prohibited and so on. In short, it can be said that the Taliban went to war against all expressions of progress and prosperity and brought disasters and calamities to our poor people.

Due to the collapse of the economy, the deep infrastructure crisis, the rise of China and Russia, its rivals, internal protest movements and conflicts, the bloody machine of the United States is on the verge of collapse. So the US handed over Afghanistan to the Taliban – the US equivalent of the Wagner Group – in order to continue their dirty politics. US and NATO troops have left Afghanistan, but our ruined land is still in the hands of imperialism and its fundamentalist minions. The United States is pushing these figures to create a situation such that this region, deprived of any peace and progress, becomes a place in ruins; in this way, this “heart of Asia” has stopped beating and has become a center of terrorism that gives much concern to emerging Asian powers. And what will be exported will be only ignorance, terrorism and drugs. And it is with this diabolical policy that the gates of schools and universities have been closed, science and culture destroyed and at the same time the creation of religious schools has increased exponentially, which only serve to train suicide bombers and terrorists.

It is no coincidence that huge sums of dollars have flowed into the pockets of the Taliban, both overtly and under the table; the representatives of the imperialist countries and the United Nations are trying in every possible way to soften the brutal face of the Taliban and are looking for solutions to ensure their recognition and longevity. We have also seen how enslaved women such as Mahbouba Seraj, Fatima Gailani and now Madina Mahboobi have been used to cover up the crimes of the Taliban. Recently, Tom West and Rina Amiri – the new Khalilzad – met with the Taliban in Doha, and expressed their “concern” about the human rights situation and the condition of women in Afghanistan (!). However, it is clear to all that what goes on behind the scenes and the dirty goals of these meetings will never be disclosed by the media.

The Taliban sometimes pretend to be hostile to Iran and Pakistan, to assert their independence; but today it is clear even to children that this misogynistic group was raised in religious schools in Pakistan, and that the Iranian fundamentalist regime was one of its main supporters. If the Taliban, an intelligence creation that has no roots in our land, had not been supported and armed by the United States and the West over the past two decades, they would not have been able to so easily regain power.

It should also be emphasized that the US and its allies have not given up on their jihadi lackeys and have always cajoled them, to keep them as a reserve force in the future. The jihadists, led mostly by Jamiat-e-Islami, the very day the Taliban returned to Kabul rushed to Pakistan on a Pakistani charter flight, to lick the feet of their old mentors and, like their Taliban counterparts, get blessings. However, as their story has come to an end and the stench of their corruption has spread everywhere, they have not been well received. Some people under the leadership of Ahmad Shah Massoud’s son are lounging in Europe and talking of resistance, but in truth they hope to return to Kabul again with the support of the United States or other powers. Our people have seen so much oppression from jihadists and their children that they see no difference between them and the Taliban, both enemies of women’s rights, justice and progress. The jihadists have used religion to oppress the people and they know they have no future in a democratic and secular state; they are the Taliban’s best allies because they are like-minded. Jihadist leaders like Siddiq Chakri, Allah Gul Mujahid, Gulbuddin, Wadud Payman, Jawed Balkhabi, Keramuddin Karim, Tahir Zuheer etc. they have already found a place in the arms of the Taliban; others are waiting to have the same opportunity that could be offered to them by foreign powers in the name of “inclusive government”.

Suffering compatriots, for decades we have experienced puppet and criminal regimes that came to power and collapsed overnight. A government imposed by a foreign power has the only task of guarding the interests of the master; we must not wait to be rescued from this humiliating situation by an intervention of outside powers. We can liberate our land only with awareness and unity. We must take advantage of the smallest openings and make our voice heard, which calls for freedom and democracy. If we remain silent, imperialism and the reactionaries with their bloody policies will play with our fate as in the past, and plunge us into another, even more bloody and devastating regime. Only we can stop them and decide our fate. It is up to us who live in our country and our compatriots abroad to fight unitedly and vigorously to create a better future and heal the wounds of our unfortunate people.
